Parker Smith, the franchise's founder, decided to launch his own restaurant in 1968 after watching how other eateries took advantage of naïve customers. He determined that everyone should be able to affordably consume delicacies. As a fisherman himself, he also understood the lifestyle of fishermen, but he found greater satisfaction in feeding hungry clients than in accumulating wealth. He led a regular life as a humble man and gave the world many of his inventions as he expanded not only in the food sector but also in the technology industry, which enables certain tasks to be performed without human aid.
